"Ow ow ow ow!" Ant Man says, or screams, thinking to Spiderman over the mental link, "Spidey, knock him out! Knock him out! Knock him out! I mean the Superskrull!! Ow!"
Spider-Man quickly understands the essence, the very pith, of Ant-Man's mental communications.
Knock. Him. Out.
It's so simple, once you have all the information in the universe! A child could understand it. A CHILD!
Spiderman uses the mind gem to put the Superskrull to sleep.
This frees Ant-Man, who had already shrunk out of the hold. Ant-Man's ants are free to return to their cylinder, where they have stored some tasty sugar crystals.
Spidey asks the Mind Gem for the following information: Does the mindgem have a name? If so, what name?
I AM ETERNITY. I AM ALL THAT IS, OR WAS, OR SHALL BE. BUT NOT WHAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN, FOR THAT IS NOT PART OF ETERNITY.
THE YELLOW STONE IS MY MIND. THE GREEN STONE IS MY WILL. THE RED STONE IS MY WRATH. THE PURPLE STONE IS MY LOVE. THE ORANGE STONE IS MY SOUL. AND THE BLUE CUBE IS MY BODY.
(Kudos to Steve Johnson for coming up with an idea that is both awesome and perfectly logical given the setup of the Marvel Universe. Of course the enemy of Death is Eternity. See Dr Strange #4.)
