Sue Storm says,
"I am here with Thor, but he is gone. The universe is going to be destroyed by Thanos in the name of Death, and he is gathering God-gems like the one in your skull to adorn the infinity gauntlet. I need your help before Dr. Doom returns.
"I had to leave my spaceship behind. I just want to say that, as astronaut myself, I have followed your career ever since Spider-Man first saved you in episode one! May I have your autograph?"
"Sure," says John Jameson, "if I can have yours. I've followed the Fantastic Four for quite a while, though not so much lately. As you know, this copy of Earth doesn't have an FF, although it certainly does have a Reed Richards."
Jameson considers.
"And Thanos wants the jewel in my head, does he? Well, he'd almost be welcome to it, but if he wants to use it as a weapon, that's a no-go. Does he have any way to locate it? Because if he doesn't, I can just go into hiding."
INVISIBLE GIRL
ReplyDelete" The Collector had a wrath creating stone which I don't recognize: the Scarlet Witch of the Avengers took it, and it vanished. Scarlet Witch had a vision where she said Thanos was behind it. Thor carries us to Asgard, where the space gem called the Tesseract is hidden. Thanos took it. Scarlet Witch had another vision where she saw Red Skull and Doctor Doom doing business for Thanos. Thor then opened a hole in timespace, and he brought himself and me here to Counterearth. The other members of my party, Storm of the XMen, Spiderman who wanted a job with us, and Ant Man and Machineman and Vision of the Avengers all vanished. I assume Thanos used the space gem to separate us.
Doom has the Will stone, but I willed the will stone to serve only Reed Richards of my Earth, and I willed Dr Doom into the black hole he created. But I have fought him before many times and he is not dead even if you see a body. he is too smart for that, and he owns a time machine. Poor fellow. He is not as smart as Reed. Did I ever tell you how I came to be the first woman on the moon?"
OR
Sue Storm in one panel says, "Let me tell you the whole story..." and the next panel has the narrator box saying "THEN, WHEN SHE IS DONE TELLING THE WHOLE STORY" John Jameison is shaking his head, saying, "Wow! That is a really intricate story with a lot of clues and detailed information you have just told me, Miss Storm. So, Reed has not asked you to marry him? What are you doing later? I 've always wanted to ask you what it was like to be the first woman on the moon?"
or so it should go in Sue's rose-colored fluffy thought bubble.
